Simple Pickling Recipe:
Ingredients:
1 cup water, 1 cup white vinegar, 1 tablespoon salt, 1 tablespoon black peppercorns,
1 tablespoon mustard seeds, 1 bay leaf
Instructions:
1. Fill mason jar with the vegetables to be pickled
2. Add black peppercorns, mustard seeds and bayleaf to mason jar
3. Bring water, vinegar and salt to a boil in pot
4. Pour boiling water-vinegar-salt mixture into mason jar
5. Place lid on mason jar and tighten lid ring
6. Let cool and lid will seal into jar, store in cool place
